A Conversation with Joseph Warren and Evan Carmichael
What if I told you that you are as talented as Michael Jordan?
That’s what Evan Carmichael believes. In fact, Evan has created a huge platform helping entrepreneurs believe in themselves. Maybe you won’t become a basketball star, but deep down, you’re the greatest in the world for something. As Evan says, it’s often not what you went to school for and not what your parents do (or want you to do).
Each person has special gifts and God-given talents. Each ENTREPRENEUR has special gifts and God-given talents.
The problem is discovering those talents and using them to create a successful, $100K business.
To help, Evan provides three questions that EVERY ENTREPRENEUR NEEDS TO ASK THEMSELVES.
Do you love your business or are you just chasing opportunity?
What’s the worst decision an entrepreneur can make? It’s probably picking a business just because they’re trying to make money.
Too many entrepreneurs chase opportunity without loving what they’re doing. You might say, “OK Joseph, maybe I don’t love being a fitness coach. But I do a good job and pay my bills.”
But guess what? You’re going up against someone who loves what they’re doing. You’re going up against someone who wakes up at 4am to work on their Facebook ad funnels. You’re going up against someone who takes clients at 8pm because they love growing their fitness business.
Eventually you’re going to fall behind. You have to LOVE your business.
How do you combine what you’re doing with what brings value to other people?
This question is for the opposite of the money lovers.
Have you ever heard the saying, “Money is the root of all evil?” Some people interpret this to mean you shouldn’t make money. These people get nervous whenever their paycheck goes up. Then they self sabotage.
The key to a great business is finding the overlap between your passion and other people’s needs. In other words, IF YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM, PEOPLE WILL PAY YOU TO SOLVE IT.
Evan says, “Just because it’s something you enjoy doing, it doesn’t mean people will pay you for it.”

Does your schedule align with your goals?
Evan started his YouTube channel 11 years ago. This was long before Google acquired the company and made it into the massive content site today. He was just a guy creating videos because he knew he was meant to serve entrepreneurs.
Now, Evan has the largest channel for entrepreneurs with over 2 million subscribers. He has produced over 6,000 videos. You don’t just create 6,000 videos in a day, a month, a year.
This consistency is what set Evan apart. When Evan was cranking out video after video, other content creators were posting whenever they posted. His channel has even surpassed speakers like Tony Robbins.
The only way to achieve this long-term success is to make sure your daily activities are leading you to your goal. Don’t put out other people’s fires. Stay true to your vision and get CLARITY on what actions produce the best results.
Don’t let your unique talents go to waste! Discover your passion, serve others, and make sure you’re always striving toward your goals.
